Honours even in a 2-2 draw for a mixed age England Veterans’ team against the Tekkerslovakia charity side in Essex on Sunday 16th November.

Ricki Finning put England one up after intercepting a back pass and then keeping his composure to slot home. Both sides had chances but it was still 1-0 to England at half time.

Tekkers made a few changes for the second half and equalised early after the restart but minutes later Finning scored again from close range after great play down the wing.

England just couldn’t hold on to the lead and the younger Tekkers deservedly made it 2-2 with only a few minutes remaining.

England goalkeeper, Darren Steadman made several outstanding saves to win Man of the Match.
