As he approaches 65, David Lazell has announced that he is stepping down as Player/Manager of England Veterans’ Over 60’s. His Assistant, Nigel Rutter will also stand down.

David and Nigel took over the managerial reins in April 2022 and we thank them both for their service over that time.

Andy Cranch who is currently Player/Manager of England Veterans’ Over 55’s will replace David and appoint his own management team. Andy has recently turned 60. The handover will be gradual but will be completed by the end of October.

We wish Andy the very best of luck in his new role.

David will remain a member of the England Veterans Football Club (EVFC) Management Committee.

A new Manager for the Over 55’s will be announced shortly.
