A fair first day for England Veterans in the 2025 – 70 Plus World Cup in Japan.

The Over 70’s drew 0-0 in their first game which was a decent result against Freddy Fund from the USA – last year’s runners up. In their second game against another American side, Turn Verein, they dominated play but missed a hatful of chances to draw 0-0.

The Over 75’s had a convincing 5-0 win against Japanese side Kizuna in their first game but then lost 5-2 to Germany in their second.

On day two, the 70’s face Kizuna in their first game and then Taiwan. The 75’s play Taiwan and then Golden State (USA).
