Sponsorship

English Veterans Football Club welcome and appreciate sponsorship.

We are a not-for-profit organisation, driven by a clear and ambitious vision: to provide prestigious representative football for senior veteran football players. Your sponsorship will directly fuel this vision.
Sponsorship can take the form of:

  • Money (pounds sterling).
  • Goods (e.g. clothing, trophies).
  • Services (e.g. printing, pitch hire).

Match day packages are also available for adults and children and can include:

  • Tickets for the match.
  • Joining the team in the dressing room.
  • Being part of the pre-match warm up.
  • Walking out with the players for the national anthems.
  • Presenting the ball to the referee at the start of the game.
  • Photographs with the Captain, match Officials and/or team.
  • Presenting the trophies after the game.
  • Dining with the team post-match.
  • Receiving the match ball, signed by the players.

But we fully recognise that sponsorship is a partnership – in return we will look to market and promote the sponsor, their company or their organisation as best we can.

If you wish to discuss sponsorship opportunities with EVFC please be sure to read the Sponsorship Terms and Conditions available on this page and then send us a message below:

Sponsorship Terms & Conditions

English Veterans Football Club is affiliated with the Leicestershire and Rutland County Football Association.

Organisation: ID 84959
FA Number: 59560049

We are not run by the Football Association. We are self-managed and self-financed and are merely affiliated with a County FA along with thousands of other clubs and teams. As such, any individual, company or organisation that provides us with sponsorship cannot claim ‘association with the FA’.

Sponsorship is assumed to be money (pounds sterling), goods (e.g. clothing, trophies) or services (e.g. printing, pitch hire) given freely by an individual, company or organisation in support of activities managed by English Veterans Football Club.

In return, we can advertise a Sponsor, their company or their organisation in our programmes, on our flyers, on our Facebook page and on our website and we can distribute advertising materials to our staff and players and to our opposition both in this country and abroad. We can also add their logo to our clothing.

We cannot endorse products and services. We can only bring attention to their existence.

We cannot ‘sell’ products and services on the Sponsor’s behalf, nor can we accept sponsorship in the form of commission on sales.

A Sponsor can provide us with an advert that they would like us to use or we can mock something up for their approval.

A Sponsor must be comfortable with the sum of money and/or value of goods and services that they give for the coverage and business it may attract. The exposure we are able to give will not be far reaching and there will be no association with the FA.

A Sponsor cannot dictate how their sponsorship money is spent but they can offer suggestions (e.g. football kit, clothing, balls, medical supplies, a defibrillator, travel/tour costs etc.). The final decision is at the discretion of the England Veterans Manager who has been party to the securing of the sponsorship or the England Veterans Management Committee – it must of course be spent on football matters and the Manager of the team that benefits will show monetary sponsorship and subsequent expenditure in their financial records.

EVFC is not registered for VAT.
