A good first day for England Veterans’ Over 65’s in the Condado Over 60’s football tournament in Murcia, Spain on Saturday 6th June.

They’ve progressed to the final where they’ll meet Internationale Cartagena tomorrow.

Games were 8 aside, 20 minutes in duration on a smaller sized pitch. England drew their first game 1-1 against San Miguel, beat MNFC 2-1 and beat Burscough 4-0. They then lost 1-0 to Internationale Cartagena before beating Old Wimbledonians 3-1.

They finished second in the round robin on 10 points. Cartagena finished with 13.

Tomorrow’s final is 11 aside. 20 minutes each way.
