August heralds the start of the 2026-27 football season and England Veterans are back on the road…

The Over 50’s play Northwood Veterans on Sunday 2nd in Middlesex and the Over 60’s play the Milton Keynes Veterans League’s Over 55’s representative side in Buckinghamshire.

On Sunday 9th, England Veterans officially raise the curtain on the new season with three games at Kirby Muxloe Football Club in Leicestershire. The Over 50’s will play the 55’s. The Over 60’s will play the 65’s and the 70’s will play the 75’s. Our official match ball sponsors, Molten, will be in attendance.

On Thursday 13th, the Over 70’s ‘A’ team play Buckinghamshire Over 65’s.

On Sunday 16th the Over 60’s play East Sussex in Bexhill. East Sussex were winners of the 2026 Over 60’s National Cup.

The Over 55’s have an evening game on Friday 21st, away to Ascot Veterans in Berkshire.

On Sunday 23rd, the Over 70’s play the Milton Keynes Over 65’s representative team in Buckinghamshire.

And to finish the month, there are two games on Sunday 30th. The Over 65’s will take part in the Oxfordshire Over 60’s 11 aside tournament and a mixed age squad will play a charity game against Tekkers Community in Essex.
