A narrow 1-0 victory for England Veterans’ Over 60’s ‘A’ team against Bangladesh Over 55’s on Sunday 23rd August in Leicestershire.

In a very tight game, England hit the bar twice with efforts from Andy Cranch and Richard Brannam. A superbly taken goal from Dean Smart eventually won the game in a controlled performance against a strong Bangladeshi representative team.

In his final game in an England shirt, Russ Shepherd captained the side to victory.
