English Veterans Football Club (EVFC) will be holding ‘invitation only’ trials for their Over 70’s on Wednesday 23rd September in Leicestershire.

EVFC play 11 aside, ‘running’ football against representative teams from the United Kingdom and abroad.

Trialists must have turned 70 years of age or be 70 within the next 6 months.

To obtain an invite, players need to be recommended by the Manager of their Club or County representative team or by someone who can vouch for their footballing pedigree. The person making the recommendation must be comfortable that the player excels when compared with others of their age.

Recommendations can be submitted via the Trialist Form on the EVFC website (link below) or via Personal Message on the EVFC Facebook page.

Once participation has been confirmed, trialists should arrive by 12 noon for a 1pm start at Lutterworth Athletic FC, Hall Lane, Bitteswell, Lutterworth, LE17 4LN.
