England win the inaugural Over 55’s Six Nations tournament after just two days…

An 8-0 win against Scotland and a 2-0 win against Northern Ireland on Saturday 12th September was enough to secure the Over 55’s Six Nation’s trophy for England Veterans.

In the early game, three goals from Stafford Browne, two from Steve Tweddle and one each for Alun Wood, Stacey Dawes and Rob Cousins put paid to a spirited Scotland side.

In the later game, a goal from David Gipp and an own goal secured the victory against hosts Northern Ireland.

Republic of Ireland jump into second place with wins over Wales and Bangladesh.

England’s final game is tomorrow, Sunday 13th against Bangladesh but they can’t be caught.
