Coming up in March for England Veterans…

The Over 60’s open the month with a game on Sunday 1st against Lewes Town Over 55’s in East Sussex.

The Over 70’s ‘A’ team then take on a team of Over 70’s trialists on Thursday 5th in Leicestershire.

The 60’s then play again on Sunday 8th in an away game against East Sussex Over 60’s who are semi finalists in the 60’s National Cup. 

Just two days later, on Tuesday 10th, the 60’s make a third appearance when they venture to Wales to play the Celtic League of Nations’ Over 60’s. 

On Sunday 15th, the Over 55’s play a side representing the Milton Keynes Veterans League in Buckinghamshire. 

On Wednesday 18th it’s the big one! The Over 60’s jet off to Spain to contest the Four Nations tournament against Denmark, Northern Ireland and Wales. England play Denmark on Thursday 19th, Northern Ireland on Friday 20th and Wales on Sunday 22nd. Denmark are hosts and games will be played in San Javier. 

The Over 65’s play Oxfordshire Over 60’s in Buckinghamshire on Thursday 19th.

On Sunday 22nd, the Over 50’s are on show, with an away game against Cheshire Veterans. 

The Over 70’s then make an appearance with a game against a combined Essex and Cambridgeshire Over 65’s representative team in Cambridgeshire on Wednesday 25th.

And on Sunday 29th, England Veterans Over 55’s Manager John Price will field a mixed age team for a prestigious charity match against Spurs Legends in Berkshire. Money will go to Deafkidz International who support deaf children and young people across the UK and beyond. 

A feast on senior veterans football to whet the appetite.
