Coming up in September…

The Over 70’s ‘A’ team kick off the month with a game against Wales on Wednesday 2nd September in Cardiff. 

Between Friday 11th and Sunday 13th, the Over 55’s are off to Northern Ireland for the prestigious ‘Home Nations’ tournament. This year’s event is being contested by six nations with the Republic of Ireland and Bangladesh joining England, Northern Ireland, Wales and Maccabi. Each team will play 11 aside games against all five other nations but the duration of the matches will be reduced to 60 minutes. 

There will then be three games in Leicestershire. The Over 60’s will play Menston Veterans on Sunday 13th. The Over 70’s will play England Veterans’ Over 65’s ‘A’ team on Tuesday 15th. And the Over 70’s ‘A’ team will play Grimsby Over 65’s on Thursday 17th. 

The Over 60’s then play Newmarket Over 50’s on Saturday 26th. Venue yet to be confirmed. 

And a mixed age team will be sent to Essex on Sunday 27th for a charity game against Wandering Crows.
