A dominant performance from England Veterans’ Over 55’s against Cantera Blanca Veteranos (Spain) ended in a 5-1 victory on Sunday 21st June in London.

England were out of the blocks quickly and two goals apiece from David Gipp and Stafford Browne gave England a 4-0 lead by half time.

Cantera, who contained a number of ex-academy players from Real Madrid, were more competitive in the second half and reduced the deficit with a thunderous free kick. England scored their fifth and final goal when a great move was finished off by Dave Taylor.
