A 3-3 draw for England Veterans’ Over 50’s against the Kent Over 40’s representative team on Sunday 8th February in Cambridgeshire.

A young, quick and talented Kent side started on the front foot and scored two early goals. England battled back and debutant Kerry Giddings reduced the deficit and Ricki Finning scored the equaliser from the penalty spot before half time.

England took the game to Kent in the second half and took a deserved lead through another debutant Kieran Robinson. They held on under increasing pressure but Kent finally equalised, creating an opportunity following a bizarre refereeing decision.

3-3 at the final whistle.

Our thanks to the match officials and to St. Ives Town Football Club for hosting the game.
