A narrow 1-0 defeat for England Veterans’ Over 75’s in the away game against the Essex Over 70’s representative side on Wednesday 29th April.

The first half was goalless but Essex managed to produce a winner in the second half.

Our thanks to the match officials and to the Fyfield Sports Academy for hosting the game.

The match provided further useful preparation for the Over 75’s as they gear up for the European Championships in Cardiff in June – the players on trial acquitted themselves well.

Well done also to Essex for establishing a County representative team at yet another age group.
