A 3-0 defeat for England Veterans’ Over 55’s in a charity match against a much younger Essex representative side on Sunday 25th October.

It was a real game of two halves and the mobile Essex side raced into a 3-0 half time lead which was thoroughly deserved.

England 55’s rallied and dominated possession in the second half and had a few good chances to reduce the deficit but were unable to find the net.

Our thanks to the match officials and to Bowers & Pitsea Football Club for use of their facilities.

Our thanks also for all the kind donations, helping to raise money for homeless military veterans who have served their country.
