England Veterans’ Over 60’s went to town with a 12-3 victory over Newmarket Over 50’s on Saturday 26th September in Suffolk.

England led 6-1 at half time but despite the scoreline, Newmarket played some good football, scored three and never gave up.

England’s scorers were Martin Thorpe and Tony Wright with four each. Alan Osman with two. Kevin Barthrop and Garry Bruce.

Our thanks to the match officials and to Newmarket Town Football Club for hosting the game.
