A 3-0 victory for England Veterans’ Over 60’s against a strong Worcestershire Over 55’s representative side on Sunday 11th October in Droitwich.

England hit the post twice, had a goal disallowed and forced the Worcester keeper into several good saves but it was still goalless at half time.

England started the second half with the same intent and had chances to take the lead before Martin Thorpe finally broke the deadlock with a good forward run before firing home.

Not long after, Tony Wright put in a super cross for Micheal Hart to double the lead with a fine header.

England pushed forward for more and a super finish from inside the box by Richard Brannam ensured the victory.

Our thanks to the match officials and to the Droitwich Leisure Centre for hosting the game.
